At Global EPP ensuring the health & safety of each and every one of our employees is of paramount importance.
Global EPP is one of the largest manufacturers of Nylon product in the world. In producing that Nylon many differing processes are employed, from our state of the art casting facility through to our modern dispatch/warehouse site.
Our most important asset of course are our dedicated team of managers, Team leaders, quality control staff, research staff, administrative personnel and skilled operators.
The safety requirements for all of the above differ greatly due to the varied tasks performed.
How do we ensure that requirements are met?
- We have a comprehensive health and safety policy.
- We employ a full time professional health and safety manager.
- Global EPP benefits from excellent training facilities enabling health and safety training using our own qualified staff.
- We employ a joint consultation approach, where informal safety sub-committee meetings are held and safety representatives from all area’s are invited to put their own safety related ideas and concerns forward.
- Regular ‘toolbox’ talks are he held where managers speak to groups of employees to further enhance the safety message.
- We have close links with the local area HSE office.
- We are members of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
- Our Health and Safety Manager is a member of the British Plastics Federation safety committee.
