VMP Overview

The development of the Global EPP Vendor Managed Programme was as a result of our customers ever increasing demands for shorter lead-times, competitive pricing and their need to hold the correct composition of stock. These three key requirements are optimised within the Vendor Managed Programme.

Prior to the establishment of our Vendor Managed Partner we will offer a comprehensive Supply Chain consultation. This will include warehousing and racking solutions, the installation of Radio Frequency Technology with wireless connectivity. The optional installation of Global EPP’s Warehouse Management System to improve utilisation and optimisation of stock, through monitoring pick frequency and location of product.

Global EPP’s forecasting and demand management system reduces levels of stock investment by accurately mapping customer requirements through its ‘real time’ analysis. This guarantees the vendor sufficient quantities of product are always available on their shelf or within Global EPP’s Central Distribution Centres.  As product is consumed, economic replenishment orders are automatically generated for immediate shipping, minimising freight charges and the associated administrative costs.

Global EPP will offer Sales & Marketing support to promote our VMP partners through activities including direct marketing, exhibitions and web hyper links. Partnership details and locations will automatically be distributed by Global EPP upon enquiry to any of its sales or ecommerce platforms.
