Global EPP's strength in the cast nylon world rests upon many factors, not least amongst them being the ability to control their own destiny in relation to the chemistry of the product. Polymerchem division manufactures its own active chemicals as well as the complete range of masterbatches relating to the wide range of available material grades. The only chemicals outside its control are the bulk monomer raw materials for which we have long-standing relationships with most of the worlds manufacturers.
The division's infrastructure, established originally for cast nylon production, has assisted the natural progression into the extrusion process. Our ability to offer such a wide range of extruded polymers has been greatly influenced by the systems employed to manage the supply chain for over 4000 metric tonnes per annum of cast nylon production. All masterbatches used as constituents within the extrusion process are formulated and synthesised in-house, to provide the controls required to maintain our exacting quality standards.
Polymerchem is responsible for supplying chemicals both within and outside the divisional structure of Global EPP Limited. The materials division Monomer Casting is completely reliant on the efficient supply of all of its raw materials from Polymerchem. Add to this the requirements of International division controlling Global EPP's Joint Venture interests as well as all other customers having been involved in a transfer of technology and know-how from Polymertechnics division and you have thousands of tonnes of chemicals supplied year in year out.
